11-16-11-rajon-rondo.JPGBoston Celtics' Rajon Rondo carries the ball with his right hand while favoring his left arm during the second half of Boston's 97-81 win over the Miami Heat in Game 3 of a second-round NBA playoff basketball series in Boston Saturday, May 7, 2011. Rondo will host a charity basketball game this Saturday at Harvard University in Cambridge.

Want to watch Rajon Rondo and Paul Pierce hit the hard court this Saturday night? You won't find these Boston Celtics playing on Legends Way. Head across the river to Cambridge, where Rondo, Pierce and other NBA players - including Kevin Durant - will play a charity game at Harvard University. The game, which starts at 6 p.m. at Lavietes Pavilion, will raise money for Boston charities, including for meals for the less fortunate this holiday season. Tickets are $50 each. To order tickets, call (617) 495-2211.

Meanwhile, remember Allen Iverson? The one-time NBA All-Star who last played professionally in Turkey and who reportedly refused to play a supporting role for teams in Detroit, Memphis and Philadelphia? Seems the 36-year-old, 6-foot-tall superstar would gladly sit on the bench for the Boston Celtics, according to media reports.

And if you're looking for the perfect stocking stuffer for the Celtics fan in your family, a company named Perfect Timing (I kid you not) has just released its 2012 Boston Celtics calendars. Just wondering if the calendar has the previously planned schedule for next season printed in its pages. Maybe that's why the calendar has already been marked down from $13.99 to $11.89. Perfect timing, indeed.
